Today, Andalusia Day, I would like to pay tribute to my homeland by explaining how we speak (Andalusian Speech). As a student of Spanish I hope that you will be interested in this post, which I have planned as a reading comprehension exercise, although it will help you to improve your oral comprehension of the most widely spoken oral variants of Spanish.
In case anyone reading this post doesn't know, Andalusia occupies the south of mainland Spain, is the second largest and most populated region (18% of Spaniards are Andalusian). Known since time immemorial, there are references to it in the Bible and in the poems of Homer. It has an impressive cultural and environmental legacy
