The Spanish film awards are the Goya Awards, or simply Los Goya. They are awarded annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain, with the purpose of rewarding the best professionals in each of the different specialties and categories of Spanish cinema.
The award consists of a bronze bust of the famous Spanish painter Francisco de Goya.
The awards ceremony takes place annually between the last days of January and the first days of February, following a format similar to that of the Oscar Awards.
Undoubtedly the queen category is Best Picture, which this year has gone to "La sociedad de la nieve". I leave you here with a review of the nominees for the category.

In 1972, Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, chartered to take a rugby team to Chile, crashes into a glacier in the heart of the Andes. Only 29 of its 45 passengers survive the crash. Trapped in one of the most inaccessible and hostile environments on the planet, they are forced to resort to extreme measures to stay alive.
Un amor ( A love )
After escaping from her oppressive life in the city, a woman in her thirties moves to a small village, to a rustic and dilapidated house, accompanied by a wild and rough dog. After facing the hostility and mistrust of the villagers, she accepts the disturbing sexual proposal of her neighbor, and a devouring and obsessive passion arises.
